Honesty in Card games

Hello! Its Team Triterra again! Today i will like to talk about a slightly more serious topic about card gaming. It is honesty in card games. What do i mean, i refer to not lying to your opponent about effects, not doing dishonest acts like cheating in a game etc.

Personally, i do not mind losing, because when i lose, i gain a new knowledge on how that deck can be played etc. However, i will mind losing when i have lost because my opponent cheated...

I will give an example. Yesterday's vanguard tournament, i lost, and i am okay with it. However, i lost because my opponent cheating very epicly.. Yes it is my fault that i did not see him cheating, and i do not know his effects etc, however, really.. i feel that these kind of card game players do not deserve to be respected by other players at all.

In my vanguard match, i was about to win him, he had 3 cards in his hand, if i am not wrong, and a 9k galahad on the field, so i used my enigman storm, 15k to attack his blaster blade, because i had a commander laurel as a rear guard, and i drived check 2 triggers, so he let it pass, and when i am about to activate laurel's ability, which is to rest 4 rearguard to stand my vanguard again.. Suddenly, my opponent told him i can only use his effect when i hit a vanguard, and i was like wtf? So i told him that commander laurel's effect activates as long as my vanguards attack hits.. so in the end he started trolling me about how i should not cheat, and that i got my effects wrong... he had 5 dmg and 3 hand cards... so i said, then can i redo and hit your vanguard now? i will shuffle back the triggers and do it again.. he said no.. cause he already let the attack pass, it was my problem

So, it was clear that he was gonna lose, he had no isolde in his hand.. So i agreed to have a rematch.. Then, during this match, i lost, because he lied to me.. again... i was not sure of galahad's effect, so i did not check.. he counter blasted 2 times, when i remember he rode blaster blade... so he told me it was 11k when there was no grade 2 galahad inside the soul... i did not know it had that kind of effect, so after that match, i realised i was guarding with extra 5k every turn... and that idiot did not bother to remind himself of his own cards effect... so much for remember his opponent's effects :D

and, my team mate used promise daughter in that deck, because it was a extra booster card, which just came out, they trolled him and shouted that he was not allowed to use it. however, guess what, that guy's own field had zennon on it... wow.. great eyesight huh

anyway, the lesson learnt from this is, always check what is happening in the game, if you are unsure of something, ask, and do not wait until the match is over, and you have lost the game already. :D
